Film Analysis:

Beaux Limmer is an experienced starter, appearing in 49 career games and playing multiple positions along the offensive line. Limmer utilizes his high IQ and physical temperament to provide high-quality snaps at the center position both in the run game and in pass protection.

On run plays, Limmer has a quick first step after the snap, which allows him to get into position and win the leverage battle against defenders. As a run blocker, Limmer profiles as a quick-twitch athlete who has the range to work to second-level defenders with ease. Limmer approaches the run game with a mean streak and will work to finish defenders through the whistle. Limmer has scheme versatile traits that allow him to play in both gap and zone schemes.

In pass protection, Limmer appears to be a high-IQ player who can effectively pick up twists and stunts and pass them on. He has good lateral agility to seal off the A-gaps from penetrating defenders. Limmer is also a high-activity blocker who is always looking for work. If he does not have a direct responsibility, he will help teammates out in pass pro. Limmer has the strength to anchor on defenders who are rushing with power and prevent the pocket from collapsing.

Limmer's biggest improvements as a player are in two main areas. The first is his aggressive nature. At times, it will get him in trouble as he is trying to make contact with defenders and will lose balance and potentially lose the rep. The other improvement Liimmer has to make is his technique in pass protection. On occasion, Limmer will miss with his punch timing and has to recover with wide hands, which results in holding and losing his base in an effort to remain in good position when anchoring in pass protection.
