Week 4 of the college football campaign officially begins on Thursday with an appetizing matchup between South Alabama and Appalachian State. With the NFL pre-draft process already kicking into high gear, this weekend's slate of college contests presents several must-watch showdowns.
The Senior Bowl recently released its watchlist, and several talents could increase their chances of receiving an invite to Mobile by boosting their pre-draft stock this weekend.
We've identified five must-watch talents for Week 4.
Lander Barton, LB, Utah
In what's certainly one of the three most important games of the weekend, No. 12 ranked Utah travels to Stillwater for a road date with No. 14 ranked Oklahoma State. Utes linebacker Lander Barton is currently our 27th-ranked prospect in our latest Draft Network Top 100 release.
Barton is an outstanding athlete who flies from sideline to sideline. In Saturday's afternoon spot, he'll be tasked with slowing down Oklahoma State running back Ollie Gordon II. It's a good-on-good matchup that'll draw a large spotlight from NFL evaluators. The Draft Network will be in attendance compiling unique footage from an on-field view for our social channels.
Isaiah Neyor, WR, Nebraska
Nebraska wide receiver Isaiah Neyor enjoyed a breakout performance in Week 1, torching UTEP for six catches, 121 yards, and a touchdown. He was significantly quieter in Weeks 2 and 3 in blowout victories over Colorado and Northern Iowa. This weekend, Neyor draws a matchup with a difficult Illinois defense.
The No. 24-ranked Fighting Illini are 3-0, including an impressive victory over Kansas. Bret Bielema's program is currently allowing 8.7 points per contest and the Cornhuskers are scoring 34 points per outing. Something's gotta give. If Nebraska is going to continue scoring points in bunches, they'll need a big-time performance from Neyor.
Miller Moss, QB, USC
USC Trojans quarterback Miller Moss is among college football's biggest revelations thus far. Caleb Williams' backup in 2022 and 2023, Moss patiently bided his time and is now taking full advantage of his opportunity to start. In two appearances, the Santa Monica native has thrown for 607 yards, two touchdowns, and zero interceptions while completing 72.7% of his passes.
Moss has been so impressive that in-house scout Keith Sanchez made him the No. 13 overall selection in his latest 2025 NFL mock draft. Moss and the Trojans are favorites over a Michigan program that’s licking its wounds from a 31-12 defeat to Texas at The Big House. The Wolverines aren’t at their best, but they still have an outstanding secondary that features star cornerback Will Johnson.
Billy Bowman Jr., DB, Oklahoma
A name that drew buzz during last year’s pre-draft process, Oklahoma safety Billy Bowman Jr. returned for his fourth season in Norman. Bowman Jr. is among the nation's most productive and experienced defensive backs, and his playmaking ability will be put under the spotlight against a dynamic Tennessee offense. The No. 6-ranked Volunteers are scoring a nation-leading 63.7 points per game on the back of freshman quarterback Nico Iamaleava.
Bowman's six interceptions last fall highlighted his rare instincts and ball skills. The matchup with Tennessee will offer another resume-defining opportunity for Bowman. The Sooners are touchdown underdogs and could use a game-changing play from their defensive leader.
Car’lin Vigers, DB, Louisiana Monroe
Louisiana Monroe defensive back Car'lin Vigers is a deep cut that made Jim Nagy's watchlist. Vigers is a versatile defender who's played boundary corner and box safety for the Warhawks. He totaled 54 tackles last season and has broken up seven career passes.
Vigers arguably has the most important game of his career against the No. 1-ranked Texas program this weekend. Arch Manning is likely to start in place of an injured Quinn Ewers. The Longhorns are naturally big-time favorites, but if Vigers wants to earn an invite to Mobile, putting impressive reps on film versus the uber-explosive Texas offense would be noted by NFL evaluators.
