There are six contests in the Big 12 this weekend after several programs enjoyed a Week 10 bye. The must-watch games on the schedule include No. 17-ranked Iowa State traveling to Kansas and the 20th-ranked Colorado Buffaloes visiting Texas Tech. The evening showcase pits No. 9 BYU against Utah.
Big 12 talents around the nation will utilize these opportunities to increase their pre-draft stock. The road to the 2025 NFL Draft is a weekly journey that is crucial to the resume-building process. We've identified five talents in particular worth analyzing in Week 11.
LaJohntay Wester, WR, Colorado
vs. Texas Tech defense
What To Look For: With opposing defenses focused on Travis Hunter, another passing-game weapon has emerged for Shedeur Sanders in LaJohntay Wester. Wester has recorded 50 or more receiving yards in three consecutive showings for Colorado, including an eight-catch, 127-yard performance versus Arizona. The quick-twitch playmaker also scored two touchdowns versus Kansas State three games ago.
Colorado and Texas Tech should combine for 60-plus points this weekend. Explosive plays should arrive in abundance. Wester's momentum should continue pushing forward against the Red Raiders by emerging as a reliable threat for Sanders as the primary slot receiver.
Cobee Bryant, CB, Kansas
vs. Iowa State offense
What To Look For: Kansas cornerback Cobee Bryant continued emerging as a viable 2025 NFL Draft prospect with a three-interception showing against Houston in mid-October. Bryant is now tied for the Big 12 interception lead with four. The Jayhawks were on a Week 10 bye and will return to action against the 17th-ranked Iowa State Cyclones this weekend.
Bryant will be tasked with covering Jaylin Noel and Jayden Higgins. It's one of the more difficult assignments on the Evergreen, Alabama native's schedule. Bryant continues to climb up pre-draft boards, and another strong showing versus the Cyclones' receiver pairing would further enhance his reputation.
Ollie Gordon II, RB, Oklahoma State
vs. TCU defense
What To Look For: Oklahoma State is a multi-score underdog against TCU this weekend. Cowboys running back Ollie Gordon II is coming off a disappointing showing versus Arizona State. Gordon rushed for just 25 yards via 11 carries, being limited to a season-low 2.3 yards per carry.
Gordon still managed to score a touchdown, bringing his total end-zone visits to six in Oklahoma State's last three contests. The struggling Horned Frogs defense is allowing a second-worst 176.2 rushing yards per game. Gordon could be due for a massive bounce-back performance.
Wyatt Milum, OT, West Virginia
vs. Cincinnati defense
What To Look For: West Virginia Wyatt Milum is the best offensive lineman in The Big 12. A tackle prospect with enough versatility to potentially guard at the next level, fundamental strength and movement skills are at the core of Milum's intriguing skill set. He was featured in one of our recent first-round mock drafts, going 16th overall to the Seattle Seahawks.
The No. 81 overall prospect in our latest Draft Network 100 rankings has an exciting matchup against a Cincinnati Bearcats defensive line that features a draftable player in Dontay Corleone. Milum has firmly entered the top-64 conversation.
Brant Kuithe, TE, Utah
vs. BYU defense
What To Look For: Utah tight end Brant Kuithe leads all players at his position in the conference in receiving yards (482) and places second in receptions (31). A playmaker for experienced quarterback Cam Rising, Kuithe is routinely producing explosive plays. He's averaging a 12th-best (wide receivers included) 15.5 yards per catch.
Kuithe is slightly undersized at a listed 6-foot-2 and 236 pounds, but he's been a difficult matchup for opposing defenders in single-man coverage. He's not much of an in-line blocker, but NFL offenses looking to spread things out and create mismatch opportunities will appreciate his passing-down ability. Kuithe could help Utah capture an upset victory over BYU on Saturday evening.
