Tennessee Titans 7-Round NFL Mock Draft: December

The 3-11 Tennessee Titans are currently slated to pick No. 6 overall in the 2025 NFL Draft. General manager Ran Carthon and head coach Brian Callahan will be tasked with drafting a difference-maker with whatever premium top-10 selection they end up with.

The Titans also benched struggling sophomore quarterback Will Levis earlier this week. That places the Nashville-based club in the QB market this offseason, but Carthon and Callahan could prefer to go the veteran route after watching a young signal-caller waste their 2024 season.

The Titans are without a third-rounder as a result of the L'Jarius Sneed trade, but they're scheduled to own four total selections in rounds four and five. Carthon desperately needs to draft instant contributors. We've completed a seven-round mock that serves as a blueprint for improvement.

Round 1 (No. 6 overall): Abdul Carter, EDGE, Penn State

The Titans are not getting enough snap-by-snap production from Harold Landry III and Arden Key. One of them will almost certainly be a cap casualty this offseason. By passing on a quarterback, Carthon can address another premium position. Abdul Carter pairs instincts with rare size and athleticism.

Round 2 (No. 37 overall): Cameron Williams, OT, Texas

Callahan has played five different players at right tackle this season. All of them have failed miserably. Nicholas Petit-Frere has not met expectations as a 2022 third-rounder. Finding a day-one starter at right tackle is a necessity in this draft. Texas' Cameron Williams plays the right side for the Longhorns opposite Kelvin Banks Jr. Williams is a massive blocker with range and lateral quickness.

Round 4 (No. 104 overall): Kobe Hudson, WR, UCF

Trading DeAndre Hopkins to the Kansas City Chiefs created a long-term need at "X" receiver. Nick Westbrook-Ikhine isn't guaranteed to return next season either as he'll command a sizable pay raise in free agency. Kobe Hudson is a big-bodied ball-tracker. Callahan likes those types, having previously coached Hopkins in Tennessee and Tee Higgins in Cincinnati.

Round 4 (No. 119 overall): Jah Joyner, EDGE, Minnesota

The edge position is so shallow that Carthon will likely utilize two selections to revamp the group at Dennard Wilson's disposal. Jah Joyner is incredibly long at a listed 6-foot-5 and 265 pounds. Expect Joyner to improve his pre-draft stock at this year's Senior Bowl. The Golden Gophers standout has totaled 14.5 career sacks.

Round 5 (No. 144 overall): J.C. Davis, OL, Illinois

Illinois' J.C. Davis is playing offensive tackle but also projects as a potential guard at the next level. The Titans need depth at all five offensive line positions. Inside, they're dealing with a serious injury to center Lloyd Cushenberry and right guard Dillon Radunz is slated to hit free agency. If he stays at tackle, Davis would push Jaelyn Duncan for the swing role behind JC Latham and whoever starts at right tackle.

Round 5 (No. 167 overall): Dante Trader Jr., SAF, Maryland

Who's going to play safety opposite Amani Hooker next season? This year, it was Quandre Diggs, who suffered a season-ending injury while on a one-year contract. Mike Brown and Daryl Worley are currently splitting snaps at the position. Dante Trader Jr. is a twitchy defensive back with 19 career passes defensed.

Round 6 (No. 181 overall): Jaylin Lane, WR, Virginia Tech

Doubling down at wide receiver is a possibility because slot wideout Tyler Boyd is playing on an expiring contract. The Titans don't have any in-house solutions to play the slot next season. Virginia Tech's Jaylin Lane is a versatile offensive chess piece with the short-area quickness and post-catch creativity to thrive in Callahan's 11-personnel offense.

Round 7 (No. 243 overall): Jaylin Smith, CB, USC

The Titans are well-positioned at corner, but depth is always needed. Roger McCreary will be entering a contract season next year and Chido Awuzie will be a 2026 cap casualty if he fails to stay healthy again in 2025. USC's Jaylin Smith is a versatile inside-outside corner with eight career pass breakups and three interceptions.
