Thursday welcomed the final day of 2025 Senior Bowl practices. The talents in attendance will now have a down day on Friday before playing in Saturday’s game. The conclusive padded session represented the final opportunity for 2025 NFL Draft hopefuls to improve their pre-draft stock in Mobile.
Various prospects maximized their reps in both one-on-one drills and team periods. Mobile offers college football’s stars a chance to compete under the brightest of lights. The following eight talents especially stood out during Thursday’s final practices.
Darius Alexander, DT, Toledo
One of the small-schoolers with something to prove in Mobile, Toledo defensive tackle Darius Alexander had a quality week. A premier Group of Five prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft, Alexander blew up offensive linemen during team periods. His combination of athleticism and urgency served him well during Thursday's practice.

Marcus Mbow, OL, Purdue
Purdue offensive linemen Marcus Mbow stacked positive performances and Thursday’s was his most impressive. Mbow worked at every offensive line position in Mobile, displaying terrific versatility and multi-tool usefulness. He was his usual aggressive self, jump-setting to dictate the action with defensive linemen during one-on-ones.
Pat Bryant II, WR, Illinois
Pat Bryant II routinely made defensive backs look foolish throughout practice reps. Bryant II arguably made the catch of Thursday morning's session, coming down with the football for a touchdown in a red-zone period. His size and athleticism make for a tough assignment in the red area.

Jack Bech, WR, TCU
TCU wide receiver Jack Bech arguably had the most consistent week of any receiver in Mobile. The Horned Frogs wideout is an incredibly physical route-runner. Bech simply creates separation and catches every target thrown his way. Whether he's a workhorse in a passing game or an outstanding blocker on the perimeter, he'll make an immediate impact as a rookie.
Junior Tafuna, DT, Utah
Utah defensive tackle Junior Tafuna was an immovable force, impressing as a run defender and pass rusher. The 303-pound Tafuna is a hard-nosed defender. His 15 tackles for loss in four campaigns at Utah highlighted his ability to gain backfield penetration.
Azareye’h Thomas, CB, Florida State
Azareye’h Thomas played shutdown coverage all week long. It was never more evident than on Thursday's practice when Thomas secured this one-handed interception. The Florida State standout spent his week in Mobile establishing himself as a top 50 overall prospect in the 2025 NFL Draft.

Jackson Slater, IOL, Sacramento State
One of the few FCS representatives in Mobile this year, Jackson Slater arguably made the biggest impact on his pre-draft stock among all players in attendance compared to his pre-Senior Bowl reputation. A relative unknown, scouts wanted to see Slater compete against the best of the best. Displaying outstanding footwork and hands in pass protection, the Sacramento State product held even the most impressive pass rushers in check.
Mac McWilliams, DB, UCF
UCF cornerback Mac McWilliams was sticky and physical in coverage all week long. McWilliams possesses a refined skill set with advanced footwork and instincts. He never panicked during one-on-ones, highlighting a smooth backpedal, simultaneously staying in phase. At times, the former UAB defender looked like he was the one running routes.
