Film Analysis:

During his career at Tulane Jha’Quan Jackson showcased his versatility by making plays in the short, intermediate, and deep portions of the field. Jackson's short-area quickness and acceleration were his best traits in helping him put together an impressive 2023 season. Jackson is an alignment-versatile player that can align as a static slot alignment, jet/orbit motion, or on the outside on occasion.

As a route-runner from the slot position, Jackson has a versatile release package and can use a speed release and quickly get into his route or use a slower, more tempoed release to give the defense a different look. On in-breakers or option routes, Jackson can create separation with his start-stop ability and quickness out of his breaks. Against off-coverage on deep routes, Jackson shows to be a savvy route-runner understanding how to properly stem the defensive back using a rocker step at the to and getting vertical for a big-time play.

After the catch, Jackson shows to be a natural runner, combining his vision, quick acceleration, and ability to run through arm tackles. Jackson has shown multiple times that he can become a productive player by simply getting the ball to him in the short areas of the field and allowing him to convert those plays into explosive plays.

Jackson's area of improvement is upping his ability to consistently make difficult catches—whether that's contested catches in traffic or the ability to adjust to the football and come down with a 50/50 ball.

Overall, Jackson is a versatile player who should immediately offer an NFL team impact play from the slot position, while also being a high-level player as a returner on special teams.
