Georgia State offensive lineman Travis Glover is an experienced and versatile prospect in the 2024 NFL Draft. Glover started 57 career games for the Panthers. Glover also received a last-minute call-up to this year’s Senior Bowl after impressing at the Hula Bowl.

Glover recently spoke exclusively with The Draft Network about a Pro Day that included a 32-inch vertical, his 35.5-inch arms, which teams are showing interest in his services, his favorite plays to run in the playbook, and more.

JM: You started 57 career games at Georgia State, falling two short of the program record. How proud are you of the career you strung together?

Travis Glover: I’m very proud of the career I strung together at Georgia State. I really wanted to get all the school’s all-time record, but I knew it wasn’t possible once I did the calculations before the season started (laughs). I was kinda bummed by that.

JM: You had an outstanding Pro Day. You hit 23 reps on the bench press and had a 32-inch vertical. You also have 35.5-inch arms. Did you get good feedback from NFL teams over your Pro Day performance?

Travis Glover: I’ve received good feedback from the teams I’ve spoken with since Pro Day. I have a lot more visits scheduled with teams than I did before the Pro Day. That tells me the performance was pretty well received.

JM: Who are some of those team meetings scheduled with?

Travis Glover: I met with the Packers right after my Pro Day. I had a meeting scheduled with them that we’re trying to reschedule because something came up. I met with the Patriots’ OL coach at Pro Day.

I have four or five visits scheduled. I know I’m going to Las Vegas to meet with the Raiders. I have a meeting scheduled with the Seahawks as well. I’m attending the Atlanta Falcons’ local day. I’ll be in Indianapolis for a visit with the Colts as well.

JM: There’s a lot of interest in you and it’s easy to see why. You received a late invite to this year's Senior Bowl. How big was that for you to prove you could hang with that level of competition?

Travis Glover: That was very big for me, especially coming from a smaller school like Georgia State. I obviously knew that scouts wanted to see if I could play against the level of competition you encounter at the Senior Bowl.

I went out there and proved that I could play at a high level. I competed with the best of the best in Mobile. It was a big opportunity for me. I really wanted to prove that to NFL scouts. I don’t think anybody noticed a difference in my level of play.

JM: You've mostly played tackle, but you've played a little guard as well. Where do NFL teams see you playing at the next level?

Travis Glover: Some teams have talked to me about playing guard. Other teams think I can stay at the tackle position at the next level. I’m not paying too much attention to that, to be honest with you. I just want to get into an NFL program and prove that I belong. I’ll play whichever position they want me to play.

JM: Do you see yourself in more of a gap/power scheme, or a Zone-based system?

Travis Glover: I haven’t really thought too much about the system either. Whatever team drafts me will make that decision. I’m excited to get in there and learn the playbook. I’m going to put my best foot forward in whichever system. I’ll be able to execute the system.

Coming out of Georgia State, we ran a lot of inside zone. That’s something I’m pretty familiar with. The gap scheme, duo, that stuff is kind of new to me because we didn’t really do it at Georgia State. I did see some of that in the Hula Bowl and Senior Bowl too. It was introduced to me.

The blocking in those schemes is more vertical. It’s something I’m still learning. The path of the running back is totally different from the inside zone stuff we ran. I’ll learn it at the end of the day.

JM: Was inside zone your favorite play to run at Georgia State?

Travis Glover: Yes it was. We called it “Indy.” I loved that play on both the front side and the back side. It helped that we had great running backs. Those guys ran through the holes we created on the back side. The guard next to me, we executed those blocks to perfection. I love that inside zone.

JM: We've appreciated your time. What kind of impact is Travis Glover going to make at the next level?

Travis Glover: I can’t wait to get in the building and learn from the veterans around me. I can’t wait to find my fit and execute our playbook. I feel like I’m going to get better every single season. I’m going to keep developing. I’m excited to compete.

I’m going to start off by executing small goals once I get inside the building. I want to make the team first and foremost, and then I want to find my way onto the field. I want to make the biggest impact my team needs from me.
