The Draft Network’s Daniel Harms recently released his latest 2025 NFL mock draft. Our Draft Network Top 100 prospect rankings have served as a reference point for his analysis and decisions. It’s mock draft season here at The Draft Network, with weekly iterations dropping every Sunday evening.

I’ve been selected to dissect Harms’ mock. I've identified my favorite selections, scheme fits, and the best prospect not selected. I also have some question marks. Let’s dive into The Draft Network’s latest 2025 NFL mock draft.

Favorite Pick: Jalen Milroe, QB, Cleveland Browns (No. 7 overall)

The 1-3 Cleveland Browns have been one of the league's biggest early-season disappointments. It's becoming increasingly clear that quarterback Deshaun Watson is never going to live up to the fully guaranteed $230 million contract. Though the Browns are stuck with that error in judgment through 2026, drafting a new franchise quarterback should be within the realm of plausible outcomes.

Alabama quarterback Jalen Milroe put forth a legendary performance in Saturday's 41-34 victory over Georgia. Milroe completed 27-of-33 passes for 374 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception. The dual-threat scrambler also added 117 rushing yards and two additional scores to his offensive totals. Improved decision-making and off-script ability have elevated him into the top-10 conversation.

Biggest Question Mark: Carson Beck QB, Seattle Seahawks (No. 17 overall)

The 3-1 Seattle Seahawks are leading the ultra-competitive NFC West through four contests. Starting quarterback Geno Smith is playing like a potential MVP candidate. Smith currently leads all quarterbacks in passing yards (1,182) and completions (115), and is second in completion percentage (72.3%). His contract is set to expire after 2025, but the Seahawks should strongly consider extending him.

Will the Seahawks consider drafting his replacement when he's playing so well? Georgia's Carson Beck has regressed this season. Beck is an extremely volatile quarterback. The full experience was on display versus Alabama as he threw for three touchdowns and three interceptions.

Best Scheme Fit: Isaiah Bond, WR, Buffalo Bills (No. 30 overall)

The once 3-1 Buffalo Bills were humbled 35-10 by the Baltimore Ravens in primetime. The Bills aren't missing Stefon Diggs as much as many expected they would. The likes of Khalil Shakir, Dalton Kincaid, and Keon Coleman are forming a reliable trio of weapons for franchise QB Josh Allen. The only thing missing is a legitimate deep-speed threat.

Texas' Isaiah Bond would truly transform this offense. The Bills passed on Xavier Worthy in the 2024 NFL Draft, allowing their competitor, the Kansas City Chiefs, to add an element of speed to their arsenal. General manager Brandon Beane won't make the same mistake twice.

Best Value: James Pearce Jr., EDGE, Detroit Lions (No. 28 overall)

Aidan Hutchinson is the best pass rusher in the league. Hutchinson has recorded a league-high 6.5 sacks through four games. He's recorded 17 (!) more pressures than any other defender in the NFL, according to Pro Football Focus.

The Detroit Lions lack supporting pass rushers. Levi Onwuzurike ranks second on the defense in sacks with just 1.5 quarterback takedowns. Harms sends Tennessee Volunteers EDGE James Pearce Jr. here to the Lions at 28th overall. Pearce Jr. garnered some No. 1 overall discussion during the preseason, but he currently has just 0.5 sacks in four games, and is settling into the mid-to-late first-round conversation.

Best Player Not Selected: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Boise State

Harms did not feature a single running back in his mock draft, which would be understandable in most classes given its non-premium nature. But this year, Boise State's Ashton Jeanty is a bonafide first-round selection. Following another 250-plus yard performance on Saturday, Jeanty has now amassed 845 rushing yards and 13 (!) touchdowns in four appearances.

Jeanty is currently on pace to shatter Barry Sanders' single-season college rushing record, one that has stood for more than 35 years (1988). Jeanty is averaging 10.3 yards per carry and features rare and elite contact balance, a trait NFL franchises value. This was Harms' one oversight.
