The Draft Network’s Daniel Harms recently released his latest 2025 NFL mock draft. Our Draft Network Top 100 prospect rankings has served as a reference point for his analysis and decisions. It’s mock draft season here at The Draft Network, with weekly iterations dropping every Sunday evening.

I’ve been selected to dissect Harms’ mock. I've identified my favorite selections, scheme fits, and the best prospect not selected. I also have some question marks. Let’s dive into The Draft Network’s latest 2025 NFL mock draft.

Favorite Pick: Will Johnson, CB, Cincinnati Bengals (No. 10 overall)

The 5-8 Cincinnati Bengals are arguably this season's biggest disappointment. Joe Burrow is playing at an MVP level and Ja'Marr Chase may achieve this year's receiving triple crown. Their defense has consistently let them down.

The Bengals are allowing a 29th-ranked 27.7 points per game and they rank 27th against the pass (235.2/game). Michigan cornerback Will Johnson would be plug-and-play in Lou Anarumo's secondary. Both Dax Hill and DJ Turner are currently on IR. Neither player has secured a long-term role in Cincinnati. Johnson would add some much-needed talent and pedigree to a struggling secondary.

Biggest Question Mark: Luther Burden III, WR, Arizona Cardinals (No. 16 overall)

Would the Arizona Cardinals really go wide receiver with consecutive first-round picks? Pairing Luther Burden III with Marvin Harrison Jr. sounds electric, but it would also be a questionable use of resources. Harrison Jr. hasn't reached his performance ceiling as a rookie. The Cardinals should continue investing in his development before adding another first-rounder to the fold.

Meanwhile, the defensive line remains in critical need of upgrades. Dante Stills leads the team in sacks with 4.5 quarterback takedowns. Dennis Gardeck was their best-performing edge before suffering a season-ending injury. He's 30 and slated for unrestricted free agency. General manager Monti Ossenfort needs to find head coach Jonathan Gannon a difference-maker up front.

Best Scheme Fit: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Los Angeles Chargers (No. 25 overall)

The Los Angeles Chargers have attempted a 30th-ranked 369 passes despite rostering a  franchise quarterback in Justin Herbert. Head coach Jim Harbaugh knew what he was doing when he appointed Greg Roman as his offensive coordinator. Roman is overseeing a run-heavy offense.

Lead back J.K. Dobbins is currently on IR with an injury. Dobbins is headed to free agency with a lengthy injury history and the Chargers should think about making a change given how important establishing the run is to their offense. Landing Ashton Jeanty would be a perfect fit from a scheme perspective in Roman’s downhill attack and from a culture and toughness standpoint.

Best Value: Tyler Warren, TE, Philadelphia Eagles (No. 29 overall)

Penn State tight end Tyler Warren appears hellbent on challenging Colston Loveland for the right to be the first tight end drafted. Warren recorded seven receptions and 84 receiving yards in a thrilling Big Ten Championship loss to Oregon. He'll have additional opportunities to continue increasing his pre-draft stock during the College Football Playoff.

Dallas Goedert is an aging, injured asset. He's appeared in nine contests this season and is enduring his worst statistical campaign in five-plus years. Drafting Warren would remove some pressure from Goedert to carry the load at tight end for the Philadelphia Eagles.

Best Player Not Selected: Derrick Harmon, DT, Oregon

Oregon defensive tackle Derrick Harmon has emerged as a first-round talent throughout the season. Despite that, Harms couldn't find a landing spot for him in his mock. Harmon has five sacks this year, including ones in back-to-back games against Washington and Penn State (Big Ten Championship Game).

Harmon is a twitched-up lineman with three-down capabilities. He's a stout run defender that makes for a difficult assignment inside for guards and centers alike. He currently projects as a potential top-20 selection.
