The Draft Network’s Keith Sanchez recently released his latest 2025 NFL mock draft. Our Draft Network Top 100 prospect rankings have served as a reference point for his analysis and decisions. It’s mock draft season here at The Draft Network, with weekly iterations dropping every Sunday evening.

I’ve been selected to dissect Sanchez’s mock. I've identified my favorite selections, scheme fits, and the best prospect not selected. I also have some question marks. Let’s dive into The Draft Network’s latest 2025 NFL mock draft.

Favorite Pick: Ashton Jeanty, RB, Cincinnati Bengals (No. 13 overall)

The Cincinnati Bengals have struggled to run the football consistently this season. They're currently averaging a 30th-ranked 91.1 rushing yards per game. They acquired Khalil Herbert at the trade deadline, but he hasn't partnered Chase Brown in the backfield appropriately.

Drafting Ashton Jeanty would transform this Bengals offense. Changes are coming around Joe Burrow and Zac Taylor, who may lose Tee Higgins to free agency. Adding Jeanty to a unit that still has Burrow and Ja'Marr Chase would make the Bengals a more well-rounded offense.

Biggest Question Mark: Savion Williams, WR, Kansas City Chiefs (No. 32 overall)

We haven't seen TCU wide receiver Savion Williams' name in many first-round mock drafts. Williams has enjoyed a so-so season, totaling 60 receptions for 611 yards and six touchdowns. He hasn't surpassed 100 receiving yards in any single-game showing this year.

Furthermore, the Kansas City Chiefs utilized last year's first-round selection on another receiver in Xavier Worthy. The Chiefs still possess holes at wideout, but they also have needs at EDGE, cornerback, and across their offensive line. Drafting a mid-round prospect in Williams would be questionable value for general manager Brett Veach.

Best Scheme Fit: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Chicago Bears (No. 9 overall)

The Chicago Bears were forced to start Kiran Amegadjie at left tackle against the Minnesota Vikings on primetime. Amegadjie has really struggled in limited action, having already allowed eight pressures and been whistled for five penalties. Braxton Jones is injured and still hasn't proven himself as the long-term blindside blocker for Caleb Williams.

Drafting Josh Conerly Jr. would give the Bears their left tackle of the future. Conerly Jr. is a high-level athlete with terrific length in pass protection. The next head coach would appreciate drafting a building block to protect Williams.

Best Value: Malaki Starks, SAF, Buffalo Bills (No. 29 overall)

Malaki Starks is among the best prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. The Georgia standout plays a non-premium position in safety, which could lead to a draft-day slide. Bills general manager Brandon Beane would pounce on his availability.

The Bills still possess questions at safety. Are Taylor Rapp and Damar Hamlin long-term solutions? Rookie Cole Bishop has been battling injuries and hasn't established himself in the lineup. Starks would immediately step into a sizable role in Sean McDermott's defense.

Best Player Not Selected: Kenneth Grant, DT, Michigan

Michigan's Kenneth Grant is a big and athletic interior defensive line prospect. The Wolverines standout moves incredibly well for a 339-pound gap-plugger. Grant's first-step quickness has led to production throughout 2024, totaling 32 tackles and 3.0 sacks. He also gets his hands up to disrupt passing lanes, with five pass breakups this season.
