Quarterbacks took center stage at the NFL Combine during Saturday’s primetime slot. With perceived top prospects Cam Ward and Shedeur Sanders deciding not to participate, the next crop of quarterbacks were offered an opportunity to shine and dominate headlines. They did not disappoint.

The participating quarterbacks are jockeying for position in the 2025 NFL Draft. They were officially the sixth position group to conduct on-field work following the running backsdefensive linemenlinebackersdefensive backs, and tight ends. Saturday was a loaded day that saw QBs and wide receivers work out simultaneously.

We've identified which quarterbacks took the most advantage of their participation at this year’s NFL Combine.

Jaxson Dart, QB, Ole Miss

Jaxson Dart has received some first-round buzz in league circles, making him the most intriguing QB prospect to actually participate. Despite only throwing the football and opting out of athletic drills, Dart's performance at the NFL Combine only gave credence to those top-32 whispers. The Ole Miss standout threw the football with accuracy and velocity, highlighting his ability to confidently attempt every throw on the field. Onlookers were impressed.

Tyler Shough, QB, Louisville

Tyler Shough has made a strong push throughout this pre-draft process and he further strengthened his argument at Lucas Oil Stadium. Shough ran his second 40-yard dash in an impressive 4.64 seconds. He also leaped a 32-inch vertical and 9-foot-9 broad jump. The Louisville quarterback is athletic enough to maneuver the pocket on film, and that athleticism was evident in every drill he participated in.

Quinn Ewers, QB, Texas

Quinn Ewers enjoyed a necessary performance. Scouts entered the process iffy on the former Texas signal-caller after he failed to meet expectations this past season. Ewers began rehabilitating his pre-draft stock by throwing the football flawlessly during his on-field session.

Riley Leonard, QB, Notre Dame

Riley Leonard did not participate in any of the athletic drills but his throwing session was arguably as impressive as anybody's, displaying touch, velocity, and accuracy. Leonard flashed growth at Notre Dame this season, leading the program to a National Championship appearance while throwing a career-high 21 touchdowns. That same progress was evident at the NFL Combine.
